Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Cook to prepare high-quality meals by following company recipes and hygiene standards. The Cook will support daily kitchen operations, ensure food safety, and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen while delivering excellent taste and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food items as per menu and standard recipes
  • Assist in food preparation (cutting, marinating, portioning, plating)
  • Maintain high standards of taste, quality, and presentation
  • Follow food safety and hygiene rules (HACCP standards if applicable)
  • Ensure proper storage of food items (FIFO method)
  • Monitor cooking time and temperature to avoid food wastage
  • Keep kitchen and workstations clean and organized
  • Support Head Chef and kitchen team during busy hours
  • Report kitchen equipment issues to supervisor

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years experience as a Cook (hotel/restaurant preferred)
  • Knowledge of basic cooking methods (grilling, frying, boiling, baking)
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Good hygiene practices and discipline
  • Teamwork and positive attitude
  • Basic English communication is a plus
